The 2008 Version of the Annual Get Together of Many of Our Old (and we really are getting that way) Friends from Wesley Chapel UMC

We came, we saw, we ate.  What else can you say.  It is always great to see old friends.  I am happy that we have this time each year to check in with each other, and it makes me especially happy when we have someone show up that hasn't been in a while.  We actually had one family that had never come to this annual picnic.  It had been close to 40 years since I had seen Mrs. Betty Fillingim.  Leon had passed away last year.  Leon was the choir director when I first joined the chancel choir those many years ago.  I hadn't seen Karen in a while, or Randy, or Leslie.  There were others there, but we especially missed those that couldn't be there.  Some of our regulars were missing too.  I wonder how big the group would be if we all came on the same year.  Anyway here's the proof.
